Synopsis

The film focuses on a girl named Wu Baocha. She is a student at Shenzhen's Bamboo Heights Secondary School and has excellent character and academic performance. She has been caring for her terminally ill mother since she was a child. The school wanted to make a documentary with her as the main character to promote her typical deeds. With the social expectations, the media wanted her to be typical, the school wanted her to be typical and her mother equally wanted her to be typical. But she is not prepared for this, and keeps refusing to be made 'typical'. The film documents the state of a child who is unprepared and confused by the social roles imposed on her.
