Release year: 2022

Run time: 87 mins

Film type: Documentary

In China, it is conservatively estimated that there are at least 6 million migrant workers suffering from pneumoconiosis. Pneumoconiosis accounts for 90% of all occupational diseases, and 90% of pneumoconiosis sufferers are farmers. They work in the worst conditions and create wealth for society, but are deprived of their health until they "kneel down and die". This film reflects the current situation of pneumoconiosis in mainland China and its social context through the documentation of the special treatment of pneumoconiosis patients. This film is an experimental documentary. It is a documentary about the entire process of surgical lung washing, which is documented in a seemingly boring and lengthy medical footage, allowing the audience to feel the pain and suffering of the patients.
